The Silkmen will face Doncaster Rovers in the 1st Round of the Youth Alliance Cup (Northern Section).

The game will take place on Saturday 2nd October 2010 (midday kick-off) and John Askey's team will be looking to go one bettter than last season when they made it through to the area final only to lose out on penalties to local rivals Stockport County.

The youngster will begin their league campaign on Saturday 14th August when they travel to Shrewsbury Town and we will be covering their progress on both the official site www.mtfc.co.uk and match day programme thoughout the season.
