The Youth Team are back in action at the Moss Rose this afternoon when they take on Premier League outfit Burnley in the North West Youth Alliance. Kick off is at 2pm and admission is free.
Burnley currently sit 6th in the table having not played at the weekend. The Silkmen travelled to Morecambe with a very young looking side and were just edged out 3-2 in a very entertaining encounter.
"We've still got a lot to play for between now and the end of the season," explained John Askey. "We'll be looking at some of the younger lads again with an eye on next season. And of course we want to pick up as many points as we can."
