Puma North West Youth Alliance

Posted on: Tue 11 Nov 2008

The Silkmen recorded their 3rd win of the Puma North West Youth Alliance season at the weekend in emphatic style, 4-1 victors of Chester City at the Moss Rose.

The win came courtesy of goals from Tom Darlington, James Askey and two from Michael Thomas (pictured), the young centre half continuing to play up front in the absence of injured Steffen Backer-Rowley and unavailable John Rooney. All four goals came in the first half and the team lined up as follows:

Starting XI:

Moss, Lowe, Jukes, Torpey, Darlington, Askey, Perry, Beckett, France, Mukendi, Thomas

The youngsters do not have a game this weekend but return to action the following Saturday (22nd Nov) when they travel to high flying North East Conference leaders Darlington for the 2nd Round of the Youth Alliance Cup.
