Tyrone was Gary Simpson's first foray into the transfer market this summer, joining the Silkmen on a one year deal from Hednesford Town. A former team mate of Ross Draper, the former WBA trainee has been a prolific scorer in non-league football scoring 28 goals for the Pitmen in his first season at the club.
He followed that up with a further 26 goals last season, and having attracted the attention of both the Silkmen boss and assistant Glynn Chamberlain, the Silkmen were delighted to fight off interest from other clubs to secure his signature.
Grabbed his first goal for the club in the pre-season friendly at Buxton, quickly followed with one in each of the games with Newcastle Town, Leek Town and Man City's Elite Squad.
