Vinny arrived at the Moss Rose in the summer of 2008 and made a big impact in his first season with the Silkmen's Youth Team. Just sixteen years of age the lanky centre forward was handed a first team squad number and a place on the bench for the team's trip to Wycombe in March 2009, making his debut against Grimsby in the last game of that season six weeks later.
Following a string of impressive performances for the Reserve Team last season, he was given his chance in the first team by new boss Gary Simpson. Was ever present thereafter scoring his first goal in the Silkmen's crucial 2-0 win over Chesterfield, a win that secured the club's League Two status with three games of the season remaining.
Sure to cause League Two defences a lot of problems through the combination of his height, strength on the ball, quick feet and undoubted enthusiasm for the game.
