The youngster signed professional papers with Macclesfield Town at the beginning of last season having completed three years at the Moss Rose as a trainee. Whilst his appearances were mainly limited to the bench, the Stafford born defender, who can also play in the middle, did force his way into the first team and did enough to secure another deal this summer. Assured on the ball and always willing to get forward Izak popped up with his first goal for the club in the 1-0 win against Peterborough which he followed up with a second in the encounter with Notts County at the Moss Rose towards the end of last season.
