The former Manchester City trainee joined the Silkmen from Aldershot Town in the summer of 2010, having previously enjoyed spells with neighbours Altrincham for whom he starred from the age of 16. He went on to make over 70 appearances for the Robins before moving to Aldershot, where he was an integral part of the team that ran away with the Conference Title in 2008.
A regular in the Shots side during their first year back in the Football League, Lewis also earned international honours at England C Level. Went out on loan to Oxford United last season, for whom he appeared eight times in the Us successful promotion winning team.
Assured on the ball and possessing a dangerous long throw, Lewis had to wait patiently for his chance last season which when it came he took with both hands, his performances enough to secure him a new deal in the summer.
