As you would expect Bury boss Chris Casper was a disappointed man after the final whistle yesterday. And speaking to the club's website he felt his team had suffered at the hands of a poor decision.

"I've got to choose my words very very carefully, that's one thing I am learning very quickly. To make such a big decision, in such a big game, and I've just looked at the video and for me the foul should be the other way and a free kick to us."

"David Morley pulled Tom Kennedy down and obviously he goes down with him. It wasn't the referee that gave the penalty, it was the linesman, and he's been sucked into it, but you have to be sure. If you're going to make those kinds of decisions in the 92nd minute of the game, you have to make sure that you know for a fact that it is a penalty."

"I've seen the element of doubt, because it is a foul to us. To give them a penalty, was a very very poor decision. The referee has to go with what his assistants tell. I've no problem with Mr. Singh, he has to go with the decision that his assistant has made."

"I thought we were excellent and that we deserved to win the game. We know that Murphy and McNeill are very physical upfront, but Dave Challinor and Darren Kempson were magnificent. In the first 20 minutes they caused a few too many problems, but once we got to grips with them, the central defenders were magnificent, there was some very good displays."

"I feel for the fans and I feel for the players as well, they are absolutely devastated to have put that amount of effort in and to have it taken away from them by a very poor decision is absolutely heartbreaking."
