The Gaffer talks to Silkmen World about Danny Whitaker, Alan Fettis and other signings

"There are a lot of players that I'm interested in. I've looked at the PFA list and we're receiving lots of details from players, so I've been on the phone a lot. It will start to develop over the next few weeks, but it's still early days. Sometimes players want to leave their options open and see who else approaches them."

"I've had a meeting with both Danny Whitaker and his agent and we're waiting on an answer. We hoping he'll come back and say yes within a few days, but if he doesn't it's his perogative and we'll have to get someone else to fill that position. I would very much like Danny to stay with us."
