Paul Wilson is a Macc Lad born and bred, but his job as a travel writer has meant that he's spent the last 20 years journeying to all four corners (remember 'Our Fan in Japan' at the 2002 World Cup?).
He can currently be found putting shrimps on the barbie in Sydney and when last back at Moss Rose suggested setting up a Macc Town Supporters - Aussie Branch.
Fellow Macc fan of over 25 years Graham Barrow of Bollington paid him a visit this month and they met on Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach to launch the new 'club'.
Graham's friend (who lives in Nelson Bay, New South Wales) has signed up as member No. 2, so if you know of any friends/relatives who might be interested, get them to drop Paul a line to pwilson@ace.edu.au
Paul says that checking on Macc's progress is a lot, lot easier these days thanks to the website, and looking from Down Under the current league table even has Macc near the top!
Let's hope we're dropping down it after this weekend.
