Macclesfield Town's final pre-season match of the campaign takes place on Saturday at 1.00pm at the Moss Rose as the Silkmen face Rhyl.
Rhyl ended last season with real heartbreak as they finished the season in sixth position of the Welsh Premier League, only to be denied a Domestic Licence and were demoted to play in the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance.
But the club are aiming to bounce back at the first attempt, and so far in pre-season have met Kidsgrover (W 2-1), Altrincham (W 1-0), Blackburn Rovers (L 2-0) and most recently, Prestatyn Town (L 4-3).

We've Met Before:
Despite now playing in the League competitions of different Football Associations, the Silkmen and the Lillywhites have shared a division when both clubs took part in the Cheshire League together between 1936, when Rhyl joined the division, until 1968 when the Silkmen joined the Northern Premier League.
1983 then saw the club following the Silkmen into the NPL where they met for another four seasons until the Silkmen's promotion into the Conference.
Played for Both:
Before looking back over the years, there are already three players who link Macc and Rhyl who could feature in Saturday's match. Greg Strong, player-manager of the Lillywhites, spent a short spell with the Silkmen on loan from Boston United in 2004, playing four games.

Last season it was Strong who signed winger Tyrone Kirk, initially on loan, just weeks after he had signed for the Silkmen, featuring in the League Cup game against Leicester City. Meanwhile, the Silkmen's recent goalkeepr signing Jack Cudworth ended last season with Rhyl, who he joijned in January and went on to play almost 20 times.
Others to have played for both sides include Simon Davies, Peter Smith, Accrington manager John Coleman, Gary Powell and inter-war player Danny Ferguson.
