There are more injury worries for the Silkmen as the season reaches the sharp end. We spoke to Nick Reid about the situation in the treatment room.
"The new addition to the injured list is Ricky Sappleton. He played through a bit of pain at Hereford before reporting in with a swollen knee. We now know it's a cartilage tear in his knee and he is having an operation on Tuesday.
"Depending on how serious it is when they get in and see what's going on he could be back in a bit more than a month, but it could be enough to keep him out or the rest of the season.

"Colin Daniel was suffering from a tight hamstring last week but felt ok to play on Saturday. Unfortunately he felt it go on his first run against Bury and again it's looking like a month before he will be back in action.
"Also still out is Izak Reid who isn't quite ready to feature. We're travelling down on Friday night and he probably won't be coming down and we'll have another look on Monday to see if he's OK for Rotherham in the week.
"Paul Bolland is still very sore around the ribs and isn't right to play and, of course Hamza Bencherif is continuing with his rehabilitation.
"But there is some better news in that Carl Tremarco is travelling with the squad and may play a part in the game."
