England to Honour Keith Alexander

Posted on: Wed 03 Mar 2010

Both the England Senior and England U21 sides are in action this evening and both sets of players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for Keith Alexander.

England take on Egypt in their preparations for the 2010 World Cup at Wembley this evening whilst the Under 21s kick off against Greece at six.

Macclesfield Town chairman Mike Rance said: "We're all humbled by this as it shows just how well respected Keith was both in football and as a man. To be given a mark of respect like this is a real honour and we would like to thank the England side for their thoughts."
