Programme Preview What is on offer in this weekend's Silkmen matchday programme?
Keith Alexander: "Whilst every game is important, today's encounter is more so in light of recent run of matches. No one needs to tell me that football is a results orientated business. You play the game to win. And put simply we have not been winning of late and that's not something I am happy with and I have no doubt as fans that you feel the same way."
Mike Rance: "I don't know about you but I've had enough of this winter! Even for the bigger clubs the continued battle with the elements is taking its toll not just in financial terms, though that's bad enough, but in the impact it's having on the normal rhythm of the season and the way we go about our business."
Opposition Intro: "Since gaining promotion to the Football League after the 2005/06 campaign, Stanley are enjoying their most successful season in League Two and are setting their sights on climbing up the football ladder once again."
Opposite Fans Eye View: "You've been on a great run, what's the secret? "I don't know really. The team and fans have been pulling together since we got through the problems and it's felt like nothing can stop us at times. I think we probably have some of the best supporters in the Football League because we don't give up."
On this Day: "1995: The Silkmen were on the way to becoming GM Vauxhall Conference Champions for the first time"
Silkmen Supporters Trust: "The Supporters Trust is appealing to all fans to support their "Noisy Ninety" initiative which will be launched this afternoon. The idea is simple - to gather a group of fans together who are prepared to sing, chant, and generally make as much noise as possible for the entire ninety minutes."
Emile Sinclair: "We've got a tough run of games coming up but we've not done too badly against the bigger sides this season so far. We all know that sometimes we haven't always got what we might have deserved out of the games and have let points slip a few times, which has been frustrating. But we are growing as a team and building our confidence and experience. If we can stick together and all fight for each other then we can certainly push up the table."
