Macclesfield Town striker Kyle Wilson has rejoined his former club FC United of Manchester on a month's loan.
The player caught the eye of Silkmen gaffer Keith Alexander with an impresive goal-haul of 24 goals in 32 games and joined the Silkmen in the summer.
But the player has so far found first team football hard to come by at the Moss Rose and has returned to Gigg Lane for a month.
Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander said: "The lad needs matches. He's been very unlucky since he's been here with several injuries keeping him out of the side and needs some games under his belt.
"It's certainly not helped him that when he has had a spell of fitness we've gone so long without a game, and he would certainly have been involved in the reserves recently had they not been postponed.
"I want him to go there and score himself a few goals then come back and be knocking on the door. The opportunity is still here for him and a few weeks playing regularly will do him good."
