Moss Rose weatherwatch

Posted on: Wed 20 Jan 2010

Despite predictions for the weather over the past 24 hours stretching from 'Heavy Rain' to 'Heavy Snow', the worst the weather has thrown at the Moss Rose pitch since Friday night's deluge was a bit of light drizzle.

The heavy band of rain which was forecasted to hit the region during today has also broken up and whilst it may rain later, it won't be anything the Moss Rose pitch can't handle comfortably.

The pitch has been well drained, rolled and marked out ahead of the game and the pitch is in good condition for this evening's match.
