We spoke to Silkmen physio Nick Reid about the current injury situation at the Moss Rose.
"Shaun Hessey is getting closer, but we are still waiting for his bone bruise to resolve itself. Elsewhere, John Rooney will hopefully be fit for the weekend but we will have to wait and see. He's been running this week and we're trying to get him back in to full training by Friday. Then we might be able to see him back in the side for the weekend."

"We sent Hamza for an X-ray this week. He was complaining that the pain in his shin wasn't settling down as quickly as it could have done, so we sent him as a precaution. Luckily it came back clear so we are hopeful that he could be in the squad for Bradford."

"Lee Bell is another one who took a bit of a bang at the weekend, but he should be fit but Nat Brown could struggle with a thigh strain that took him out of last weekend's match. Better news is that Paul Morgan showed no ill effects after his appearance. We also came through the midweek Reserve came with no more poblems."
"Two more who have slight doubts are Ricky Sappleton and Paul Bolland. Ricky had to be taken out of the game at the weekend and has since missed training after calling in sick, and Paul Bolland has also been ill this week and missed training. We will have to wait and see on both of them."
