Macclesfield Town have confirmed that Nat Brown has commited his future to the club after the central defender was released by Wrexham. The player joined his team-mates for the first day of pre-season training today.
Nat, who spent the majority of last season on loan with the Silkmen made an immediate impact with four goals in his first two months whilst playing as a central midfielder. Later in the season he moved back to the centre of the back line and forged a solid partnership with Paul Morgan.
In total, Nat played thirty League games scoring a total of six times for the club with a further three appearances coming in the FA Cup.
Nat began his career as a trainee at Huddersfield and was a regular for them both in League One and as they were promoted from League Two the season after relegation. In all he featured almost 80 times for Huddersfield, mainly at the higher level.

He joined Lincoln City in the summer of 2005 and was immediately a success, playing 39 League games and scoring seven goals as the Imps reached the play-off semi-finals. Injury limited his appearances to 30 the following season as, once again, Lincoln finished in the top seven.
By the time he joined Wrexham in the summer of 2008, he had played more than 100 times for the Sincil Bank side.

He played only seven times for the Welsh club before returning to the Football League, and Macclesfied Town, last season.
