Season tickets for the 2009/10 campaign go on sale from tomorrow (Fri 17th April), offering reduced priced admission to all league matches and priority allocation for any all ticket games.
And in addition to this, our season ticket holders will benefit from a package of added value benefits worth in excess of £200.
This includes an advanced complimentary copy of 'The League Story so Far', a new book written by Geoff Knights charting the club's history since we gain Football League status back in 1997.
The Format
Each year has a separate chapter recalling pre-season events including friendly matches followed by a month by month season review. Every match is covered either by result, significant achievement (eg hat-trick) or, in some cases, a short summary. Major achievements by both the reserve and youth teams are also covered and, throughout the book, there are many colour photographs, a few of which have never been published previously.
Full of Stats
No book about football is complete without statistics. The appendices include total player appearances and goals scored by season and every match result, but rather than merely listing them in chronological order, I have listed them in alphabetical order of our opponents. Also there is a very short profile for every first team player covering their time at Macclesfield and a section on the many endeavours to develop the Moss Rose and even move away to another site.
It's a must have for every Silkmen fan, one that Geoff hopes will conjure up many memories and prove to be the definitive record of the club's first twelve years as members of the Football League
So to guarantee your FREE copy be sure to sign up for next year's season tickets. And buy before May 15th and you will also qualify for our early bird discount.
