Macclesfield Town have given businesses a boost, by giving out more than 400 complimentary tickets to local firms.
The club has targeted two games, our last home encounter with AFC Bournemouth and our next fixture at the Moss Rose against Chestefield.
"We know that times are tough at the moment, especially for a lot of our local businesses," explained Macclesfield Town commercial manager Penny Baguley.
"There's no restriction on how they use the tickets. They can pass them on to their customers, hand them over to their staff. It really is up to them to decide."
"The feedback we have received has been very positive and it is certainly something we will be looking to develop further. We recognise the need to raise the club's profile within the wider community, and this initiative together with inviting local teams to matches and our programme of schools' visit is all part of that plan."
"We remain committed to forging stronger links with all sections of the wider Macclesfield community and we would of course welcome any suggestions or ideas to ensure we keep getting our message out there."
