Silkmen striker Martin Gritton in one of four players nominated for the Powerade Player of the Month in League Two for December. The former Lincoln City man made four starts and one further appearance from the substitutes' bench in the month, scoring four goals in the process including two in a matchwinning performance against Chesterfield at Saltergate.

Up against Martin are fellow forwards Paul Benson (Dagenham & Redbridge) and Kirk Hudson (Aldershot) plus Marcus Bean of Brentford.

The winner will be announced on Sky Sports' Big League Weekend 2 which goes out at 6pm on Monday, January 12th.
