The Silkmen have been given a bye in the first round of the Cheshire County FA Premier Cup. The competition is open to the five professional football league clubs coming under the jurisdiction of the Cheshire FA.

We enter the fray at the semi-final stage hosting Tranmere Rovers at a date to be agreed in the New Year. The full draw is as follows:-

1^st Round

Crewe Alexandra v Stockport County

Game to be played w/c 3rd Nov 2008

Byes given to Chester City; Macclesfield Town; Tranmere Rovers

SEMI FINALS
Chester City v Crewe Alexandra or Stockport County
Macclesfield Town v Tranmere Rovers

Games to be played after 3rd January 2009 & before 7th March 2009
