Manchester City reserve team defender Clayton McDonald will sign for the Silkmen on Saturday, and subject to gaining Football League clearance, will be available to play in our game with Bradford City at the Moss Rose.

The 6ft 6in centre half joins us on an initial one month emergency loan deal, but with the option to extend this in due course.
