Pre-season Friendlies
A young looking Silkmen squad heads to the West Midlands this evening for an encounter with Hednesford Town. The game at Keys Park kicks-off at 7.30pm and admission to the game is £5 for adults (£3 concessions).
On Tuesday we entertain Stockport County at the Moss Rose (kick-off 7.45pm) before welcoming the Chengdu Blades on Thursday (kick-off 7.45pm). That same night the youth team plus a selection of those players not selected for the game against the Blades will travel to play Rainworth Miners Welfare in Nottinghamshire.
"It's another busy week for us," explained Keith Alexander. "But it's a chance for everyone to get some more minutes under their belts and miles in the tank. We'll be taking a lot of the younger lads to Hednesford this evening, together with the likes of Neil Harvey and I am looking forward to seeing how they cope."
