News from the Boardroom

Posted on: Wed 09 Apr 2008

Former Macclesfield Town Director Jeremy Turner is to return to the Silkmen Board with immediate effect. A successful Bollington-based businessman, Jeremy is a lifelong supporter of the Silkmen and was an active member of the Board at Moss Rose during our early years in the Football League and worked closely with current Chairman Mike Rance during a period of significant change for the club.

"Jeremy has a real passion for the club and follows the team both home and away whenever his business commitments allow" said Rance. "I'm hoping to establish an effective team of working directors at Moss Rose and I know Jeremy will be able to make a real contribution."

"I'm very pleased to be back," said Jeremy. "I learnt a lot about the challenges faced by a club of Macclesfield Town's size last time around. I hope I can put that experience to good use as we work to take the club forward both on and off the field."
