Macclesfield Town's dismal run of results against Accrington Stanley continued as the home side were 3-0 winners to make it one win in nine for the Silkmen against the side.
A hat-trick from Sean McConville did the damage as he hit twice in nine minutes in the first half and then took home the match ball with a third with less than 20 minutes remaining.
On a day of few positives for the Silkmen, one piece of good news was the return to action of Paul Morgan on a day that was otherwise better to forget.
