Macclesfield Town face another stern test at the Moss Rose this weekend as title chasing Cheltenham Town arrive for a match which could see them finish the day top of the pile.
The Silkmen meanwhile are looking to end a frustrating run of results that have been exaserbated by the unprecedented injury crisis at the club.
You could make most of a good side out of the players currently being worked on in Nick Reid's treatment room, and it has left the Silkmen thin on the ground.
So manager Gary Simpson has several selection headaches ahead of the clash against a Cheltenham side who were beaten for the second time in 17 matches last weekend.
This run has powered the side up into third place, and with neither Swindon or Southend in action (as they were due to play on Saturday but for Swindon's FA Cup commitments) any result other than a Macclesfield win would put them top of the League Two table.
The Silkmen, meanwhile are hoping to retain some of the home form which has seen them defeated only three times on their own patch all season, conceding comfortably fewer than a goal a game along the way.
But they might have to do it without as many as 11 of their first team squad.
Early team news
Ben Tomlinson, Sam Wedgbury, Ross Draper and Lewis Chalmers will all be out of action. George Donnelly is also out with a calf strain whilst Dwaine Mattis and Paul Morgan are also expected to miss out with injuries picked up in the midweek defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
