It's another busy week for the Silkmen with two away games at Notts County on Tuesday before a much longer trip to take on Hereford United at Edgar Street at the weekend.
Both teams met at Meadow Lane on Saturday with the Magpies comprehensive 5-0 winners on an afternoon that saw two Bulls players receive their marking orders.
And Keith Alexander is targetting at least one win from those two games.
"We've got two tough games this week," explained Keith, "and its vital we pick up at least one win."
"It's now nine games without a win and that's not good enough. Yes we've played a lot of the sides up near the top in that time. And by and large we've done ok against them."
"But you get a bit fed up being told how well you have played by opposing managers and directors. And I am sure the fans get fed up hearing me say similar things."
"We need a win. It's as simple as that. And the sooner we do that the better. Tuesday will be tough. Yes County will be without Lee Hughes but that didn't seem to affect them on Saturday when they knocked in five."
"The local media in Nottingham seem to have written off our chances. But Meadow Lane has been a happy hunting ground for us and if we can put in the kind of performance we did at Bournemouth then we might surprise a few people."
"On paper the Hereford game offers us our best chance. Like ourselves they've been struggling of late and go to Cheltenham on Tuesday. However no one likes getting thumped five nil, so they'll be looking to put that right in front of their home fans."
"I keep saying we're not a million miles away but its time to start converting that into wins. And it would be nice if we had a bit of luck as at the moment we've had a few decisions go against us at Bury and Bournemouth and on Saturday the manner of the goal was lucky to say the least."
"We remain very positive but it doesn't take a genius to work out that a win will give everyone a massive lift and take a bit of pressure off everyone's shoulders."
