Keith Alexander is expected to have a near full strength squad to choose from for the game against Rochdale on Saturday.

Gareth Evans has completed his four game ban for the red card received against Notts County and is available for selection once again. Paul Morgan is also in contention for a recall to the side.

The only player definitely unavailable for the trip to Spotland is reserve keeper Matt Towns who injured his hand in training and is due to have a scan on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury.

"After a slow start to the season, Rochdale are unbeaten in six league games and I fully expect them to be challenging for a top seven place come the end of the season," explained Keith Alexander.

"They've got a nice blend of experience and youth in their squad and in Keith Hill have a good young manager. They were unlucky to miss out on promotion last season so are going to be doubly determined to not miss out this time around."

"Someone asked me the other day if we should see them as a good role model. Well to some extent they are, in that they don't spend a fortune on players and do their best with what limited resources they have. But compared to ourselves I think their average attendance is a good thousand more than the numbers we see at the Moss Rose. It is a fact of life that things like that do make a difference."

"However I believe we have a squad that is capable of competing in this division and that is borne out by our levels of performance. However we haven't been getting the results those performances perhaps deserved. We've struggled in front of goal in the last month and that's something we have to address. We need to be more clinical and we need the defence and midfield to chip in every now and again."

"That's what happened at Harlow when Shaun and Terry scored two good goals and we'll need more of that if we are going to start climbing the table. We're are reaching the time of the season when things start to take shape so if we are to have any aspiration of improving our position then we need to start putting an unbeaten run together."
