The Moss Rose has been chosen to host an English Schools' Football Association (ESFA) International later this season.
The England and Northern Ireland under 18 Centenary Shield International will take place on Friday 27th March 2009 with a 7pm kick-off. Admission on the night costs just £5 for adults and £2 all concessions.
Tickets can however be bought in advance either from the club on 01625 264686 or by calling the Cheshire County Schools FA on 01260 252076.
"Its great that we've been chosen to host the game," explained Chief Executive Patrick Nelson. "The ESFA have traditionally held their games at larger grounds but have taken a decision this season to opt for some smaller venues in the hope that a similar crowd would make for a much better atmosphere."
"Having already hosted the Ladies FA Community Shield already this season it is testimony both to the quality of our pitch, for which Mark and his team deserve great credit, and the fact that as a club we have something good to offer. Hopefully the game will attract a lot of interest and we can get a sizeable crowd on the night."
