Rock at the Moss continues on Saturday 6th December 2008 when local legend George Borowski plays a home-town gig at the Macclesfield album launch of his much anticipated 'Fair Xaverian'.

Music with a message for all, delivered with a passion - George's song writing winds its way through pop, rock, country, blue suede tunes in true rock 'n roll style, socially aware masterpieces with haunting lyrics and those lump-in-the-throat power ballads which carry that definitive GB stamp.

Tours have taken George across Europe America Australia Japan Brazil and Scandinavia in the company of world renowned artistes of all musical genres but he is back in Macclesfield after spending three weeks recording in the US.

And when his touring isn't taking him around the world, George has been known to visit the Moss Rose, where he currently boasts a 100% record of seeing the Silkmen winning every time.

There is a full evening of music on offer as George will be supported by local singer/songwriter Dave Hulston and Cactus Moon, houseband of Poynton's Bluefunk club. Tickets cost £5.00, with a hot buffet available on the night with proceedings kicking off in the McIlroy Suite at 8pm. Tickets will be available shortly.

George will also be performing on the Moss Rose pitch before kick off against Bury, also on the 6th December.
