The Macclesfield Football Festival is returning in May for its fifth season at the Moss Rose.

Last season the Supporters Trust joined forces with the Macclesfield Junior Football Club (who had been running their own tournament for six years) to form the Festival and the event will raise funds for all three organisations and raise awareness of the popularity of junior football within our community.

Traditionally this event has only been open to senior six a side teams but in 2008 the event was extended to include a junior tournament open to any FA affiliated junior team.

We are now catering for age groups ranging from U7's to U16's as well as the already well established senior competition over three days of the bank holiday weekend.

The calendar of games is:

Saturday 29th
Under 7s and Under 8s.
Under 7s and Under 8s.

Sunday 30th
Under 11s and Under 12s.
Under 13s and Under 14s.

Bank Holiday Monday 31st
Under 15s and Under 16s.
Seniors.

The entry fee for a junior team is £35 with 5 per team with three subs and £100 for a senior team of 5 players and 3 reserves.

The games are played in a league basis leading onto semi finals and the final. All games are controlled by qualified referees and are played on the Moss Rose pitch.

The Mcllroy suite will be open for drinks and hot snacks (bacon baps, burgers etc) which will be available every day. Soft drinks and sweets will be on sale by the Macclesfield Juniors and the Supporters Trust will have the full range of merchandise available.
