Macclesfield Town's Community Sports Trust is working hard through the summer as it continues the successful 'Healthy Eating' school visits to the Moss Rose with the support of healthcare company Adelphi.
Over the past few months, several local schools have been guests of the club in the McIlroy Suite and each class has run through a series of activities, both mental and physical to help hone their maths and English skills whilst some physical activity helped build the appetites for the healthy lunch.

The pupils have learned about how footballers eat to stay healthy for the next big game and often players have also been on hand to join in the fun.

Out go fast foods, chips and burgers and in come pasta, fresh fruit and vegetables and plenty of exercise.
The scheme is continuing through June and July with nine local schools visiting the club and Broken Cross, Park Royal, Marton, Marlfields, Gorsey Bank, Bollington Cross, Rainow, St Gregs and Dean Valley take part.
The CST also have one more free slot on Wednesday 30th of June and if any teachers would like to get their class involved, please contact the Trust on (01625) 264688.
The TRust are also launching adult fitness classes at the Moss Rose. Contact the above number for more details.
