It's been a busy few weeks for the Silkmen's Community Sports Trust.
With school visits, development centres and the Sport Relief Mile taking up their time as they continue to be out and about in the region.
Here is just a taste of what the CST have been getting up to in the last few weeks.
Ash Grove Street Soccer
The Weston street sports project is now in full swing, with around 25 kids turning up each week (pictured), the players have really enjoyed themselves and all look forward to coming each week.

With projects in Handforth and Broken cross, the street sports program is starting to take shape.
Boys Development Centres
We are now entering block 3 at all centres, we have a great deal of good players with the potential to make it all the way to play for MTFC. It is an important time for the u12 boys as this final block will determined who will progress further with MTFC and secure a trial/place at the clubs Centre of Excellence.
Girls Development Centres
The new Girls development centres are becoming established and we now have in excess of 20 girls taking part in these sessions. Vicky will be providing exit routes to local clubs; including Macc Ladies FC.
Holiday Camps
During Easter half term we are running Football sessions for both Boys and Girls and Dance sessions, all based at Macclesfield High school.
Dates: 29/30/31 March and 8/9 April. 10am - 3pm
We are also running a Multi Sports camp on Tuesday 6th. Macclesfield High School, 10am - 3pm. This will be a fun packed activity involving: frisbee, quick cricket, rounder's, track & field etc.

Sport Relief Mile
The Community team helped Cheshire East council run the sport relief mile. Amy provided a dance warm up for the runners, whilst Andy set up a 5 aside. Poor Vicky had to run... or should I say walk the full mile as Roary. Well done Vicky!
