Macclesfield Town's Football in the Community Scheme will be in schools from Congleton to Manchester this week as their team run a wide variety of initiatives and schemes in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.
Ian Cosier said: "We have a set rota of schools for each term.
This time around we are in 15-20 each week with training, assemblies and other events such as anti-bullying initiatives and prize-givings."
FitC also offer a selection of after-school schemes which see them involved with between 10 and 40 kids at a time.
These include after school sessions and the new Street soccer which is gathering pace throught the region since it's inception last season.
Ian added: "We'll be in schools, running the Street Soccer and our Development Centres and we can see upwards of 150 boys and girls in a day.
Wednesdays for example we are in Bollington Cross, Park Royal and Macclesfield College as well as our Macclesfield Development Centre and Street-Soccer at West Park and Ash Grove. Further afield we visit schools across an area as diverse as Altrincham and Congleton."
FitC also attend local events alongside Silkmen players, such as the recent play-area openings in Upton Priory and Alderly Edge.
