Macclesfield Town defender Carl Tremarco has joined Maltese top flight side Floriana F.C., managed by Mark Wright, on loan until the end of the season.
The left-back joined the Silkmen from Wrexham in July 2009 and went on to play just over 100 matches for the club in all competitions. In that time he found the back of the net twice, with both coming in last season's FA Cup.
He joins the top Maltese side in time for the start of their 2012/13 campaign
