Take a look at all the news you might have missed from the National League this week

Former Macc man Rooney joins Guiseley

The younger brother of Wayne, John Rooney, has joined National League strugglers Guiseley on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year old has been Wrexham’s top goalscorer this season but if one more game had been played, he would have an automatic one-year extension deal.

Rooney has had spells with the Silkmen, Barnsley, Bury and Chester over the course of his career.

Sutton rewarded for achievements

Sutton United have received a special Vanarama reward for their heroic achievements in the FA Cup.

The giant killers are preparing for the fifth round of the cup where they face Premier League giants, Arsenal, next Monday.

Having already eliminated Dartford, Cheltenham, AFC Wimbledon and Leeds United, Sutton are set to see a bumper crowd at the Gander Green Lane with the BBC cameras also making an appearance.

N’Gala joins Dover

Former Eastleigh centre-back Bondz N’Gala has joined Dover Athletic after his transfer to Gillingham fell through.

The 27-year old is a former West Ham United youth player and was set to sign for the league one club before FIFA’s regulations got in the way of the deal.

The former Barnet captain will join up with The Whites on a deal until the end of the season.
