Silkmen Campaign Fund Reopened

Contribute to John's playing budget with an extra incentive

Macclesfield Town are delighted to announce that the Silkmen Campaign Fund has been reopened until 31st January, 2017.

All contributions will go directly into John Askey's playing budget, and as with the amounts that were paid in the summer, in the event that the club is promoted to the English Football League at the end of this season, Macclesfield Town will refund double the amount to the contributor.

Speaking about the move, Silkmen Chairman Mark Blower said "First and foremost we would like to thank all those that got involved in the scheme when it was launched at the start of the season.

"The incredible success of the fund in the summer meant that £42,550 was made available to John to spend on players, over and above his original playing budget.  This saw the arrival of players such as Ollie Norburn, Mitch Hancox and Kingsley James, all of whom have made invaluable contributions so far this season.

"Now we are giving people the opportunity to add to their contribution, or for new people to get involved.  We currently sit in seventh place, very much in touch with the play-off spots, and are now looking to push on as we enter the second half of the season."

  • Opportunity is limited to £100,000 in 2,000 multiples of £50.00.
  • Opportunity closes at 11.59pm on 31st January, 2017.
  • If applicable, repayment will only be payable to the named individual.
  • If applicable, repayment will be made by 1st October, 2017.
